Sense of Home Every Sunday starting 14th Sept 10pm Channel 5

"A unique drama anthology that is filmed entirely overseas. A collection of four stories about Singaporeans abroad - living, working, traveling or simply lost."

"Baby Blues" - An expat couple living in Shanghai fighting over whether to have their baby in China or Singapore...

To have the baby in Singapore or in China? I guess what's important is where you truly call Home. Perhaps China is the place where you work in, where you reside in, but is it really Home? To me, home is a special place where you belong, where you grew up, where your friends and family are; a place that you're familiar with and a place with many fond and precious memories.

Like what is mentioned in the show, the baby will be a Singaporean cos the parents are Singaporeans. But a Singaporean born and raise in Singapore is different from a Singaporean born and raise in China. Who knows if the baby might grow up with an identity crisis? (Okay maybe I'm exaggerating a little, but you'll never know..) The bottom line is I want my children to be a part of the place where I call Home. (Very patriotic, hor?)

Sidetracking a little, I'm quite impressed with this drama. For a local production, I would say it's pretty good. The storyline, the plot and the values behind it, it's definitely worth watching.
