4 years later...

We had our last secondary school gathering back in 2004. Now 4 years later, on 21st June 2008, we managed to gather again. It was a wonderful feeling to see so many old friends coming together, celebrating this special day. It sure brings back tons of memories! =)

Every little thing..

Valerie asked me once during dinner "Ain't you gonna change your hp display pic? Or remove his photo from your wallet?" I kept quiet and mumbled softly "I don't know." I seriously don't. My lappie's display pic is him, so is my hp and msn display pic. I still keep a photo of us on my study table, and in my wallet. And I'm still wearing the ring he gave me.

It's been 5 months now. Sometimes I feel that men are such crafty creatures. I thought I can't survive without him. But life still goes on, and it's been so well that I feel gulity and apologetic towards him. Even so, he's always on my mind. Every little thing reminds me of him.

Sometimes when I missed him so much, I will cry even though I promised him I would never cry again. I would cry so hard, so hard that my heart aches and I start to get breathless. But I still continue to cry...

"Baby, will I ever dream of you again? I miss you so much."

Chicken Flu Song

For those who don't really understand Mandarin, this song is talking about how the chickens felt during the Bird Flu period. Enjoy! =)

I got myself a new toy today. Haven't really play with it yet. Still charging... Will blog more about it once I go through the first trial round tomorrow. BEHOLD! =)

saturday, june 14, 2008 judgement day...

This player is so light that sometimes I don't even realised it's in my pocket! The size and weight is a big plus for those who prefer small and non-bulky gadgets. It was a little difficult to use the function buttons initially as they aren't the usual 'pop-out' (convex) type. It's quite similar to the ipod's sensitive control wheel. The music quality is pretty good for a gadget so small.

'Threesome' dinner

Knowing them for almost 3 years, yet this was the very first time that the 3 of us - Sally, Valerie and myself - went out for dinner and drinks together. How weird. Anyway, I guess this wouldn't had happened if not for the twist of events. (Right, I shall NOT bitch in my own Blog.)

We headed down to a Spanish restaurant - Via Mar Restaurant and Wine Bar - situated at Esplanade L1. I've never been to Spain before so I can't comment if the deco is really Spanish-ish but the drawings on the walls are pretty cool.

Their Fried Golden Button Mushroom is a MUST TRY if you're a mushroom lover! And their Fried Golden White Bait is AWESOME too! Their Paella (Spanish rice dish with vege and meat or seafood) is just so-so. We tried their Deep Fried Cheese and Escargots as well. They love the cheese, I like the escargots (WAY better than Jack's Place's).

After the sinful meal, we walked down to the Indochine at Empress Place to chill out. The location is definitely a big plus cos it overlooks Singapore River. The ambience is relaxing with a live band playing jazz music. (P/S: the violinist is quite cute actually) Definitely a good place to relax and catch up with friends.

Our drinks (clockwise from left): Chocolate Martini (Ada's), Scarlet (Sally's), Dessert Wine (Valerie's)

I totally heart my drink! Chocolate plus martini, what's there not to like? And the flower! Chio! Sally's scarlet was ok but Valerie's was a huge disappointment! Not only was it a small tiny glass, it taste like bitter cough syrup! The lady who served us didn't even asked for her wine preference and immediately made a recommendation. You know what? Sorry sister, you made the WRONG recommendation!

Valerie and Moi.

Sally and Moi.

The three of us.

P/S: Our birthdays are just 2 days apart.. Sally's 23rd, Ada's 25th, Valerie's 27th.. =)

UPDATES! READ HERE!!

For people who reads my blog regularly, like VaL and Cin-D, I apologise for the lack of updates. Well, life's been pretty uninteresting ever since the Bangkok trip. It's mostly work and home - jogging (I try to jog at least twice weekly now), hanging out with friends or simply staying at home.

Work's been pretty busy. There has been some department reshuffling and with 1 of my colleagues gone, workload increases quite a bit. My table becomes messier and I become crazier, not that I'm any normal to start with. LoL. The new girl is coming in this Friday. But she will be undergoing 2 weeks of training so I guess I will still be as busy until then.

The only 'happening' thing is I've been partying at St James for the past 2 Fridays, and I suspect I will be going again next week for a birthday celebration. All the boozing and late nights are taking a toll on my body - dark circles, eye bags, tiredness. Haiz. Oh well, trying my best to hang in there.

My hamster is still good and alive, though it kept biting on the cage. So noisy! Disturbing my sleep sometimes. Argh! I'm so gonna get a new cage, a plastic one this time. Try biting that, you little monster! LoL.

Nokia Snake Game Human Version

Found this clip by chance. Quite interesting. Reminds me of my old Nokia 8250. Enjoy!
