I WANT TO QUIT...Not!

I can't stand it anymore!

My boss is driving me nuts, giving me hell!! Coming to work is a dreadful chore, wondering if I will be 'te-kan' by the boss. Such difficult boss exists, and I am working for him. The Devil from Hell. Maybe not that bad, but he is EVIL. *sigh*

I wanted so much to quit today. Feel so wronged, so fed-up, so enough already.

But wait, why should I quit when it was the boss who's in the wrong, and not me? Why should I take the blame for something that's not even my fault?

No, I will stay.

Just have to be extra careful and always cc someone in the email loop, just to be on the safe side. You never know when you need someone to back you up.

On a different note, I need to have more self-control over my emotions. Being too emotional will only make me an easy target...

Birthday Surprise for Baby!

Knowing that baby will be outfield on his birthday, I decided to give him a surprise on the weekend before his actual day. I lured him to Sentosa on the pretext of tanning. Upon reaching the destination, I told him I need to use the toilet and asked him to wait for me outside. 10 mins passed. 20 mins passed. I finally came out of Siloso Beach Resort with a room key!



Baby was really stunned. Eyes and mouth wide opened for almost 20 seconds; that expression was worth a million dollars! *wide grin*

Soon after we settled down, we went swimming. The pool is quite long, stretching from one end to the other. There is a waterfall on one side of the pool, and jacuzzis on the other end. For those who don't swim, you can relax or simply laze around by the tables beside the pool.



Dinner was at Carnivore, a Brazilian food feast with non-stop flow of meat - beef, pork, chicken, fish and lamb! Their knife-welding passadors (meat waiters) will move around the tables, carving the succulent meats from large skewers onto your plates, and the meat just kept coming and coming and coming and... Baby and I ordered this drink - with lime, Brazilian rum, and mint leaves - can't remember the name tho. Strong flavored, and it's supposed to 'push' down the food so you can eat a lot more. Come to think of it, it tastes a little like Cuba's mijito. =)

Well, I asked Baby how surprise he was rating from a scale of 1 to 10. He said 8. So I topped it up with a new 4 gb ipod nano! But he kind of expected it. Darn. Oh well, he's happy, so am I.

Breakfast was at the resort cafe. Nothing too fancy, just your normal sausage, cereal and stuff. There were a lot of locals and foreigners, from Korea, Japan, America perhaps.

Just got back from watching this Russia movie at Picturehouse. As it was an award-winning film and with many good reviews, I decided to go catch it despite having to watch it alone, since nobody likes this type of film.



Vanya is a 6 year old orphan living in a rundown orphanage in a remote Russian village. For Vanya and the other children, life is without hope, unless, of course, they are adopted by wealthy foreigners. For Vanya, hope comes in the form of an Italian couple. But while arrangements are being made, an incident occurs when the mother of another child appears, seeking her son. Vanya begins to wonder what would happen if his own mother reappeared, and he was living in Italy. With the assistance of older children, Vanya is able to access his records and find the possible whereabouts of his mother. He escapes and travels across the country, pursued by the adoption agents.

An inspiring movie that not only reflected the reality of life of orphans, but also on the issue of humanity. The adoption agents who care more about money than the kids, the children of the orphanage who only hope to be adopted by rich foreign families, the protagonist who brave the dangers and the unknown to find his mother - all these add up to make The Italian a great movie.

The fashion designer who co-owned the office is having his fashion show next Monday. The models came for fitting yesterday. I only get to see models walking on the runway in TV programmes such as 'Project Runway' or 'Victoria Secrets Fashion Show'. But yesterday, I get to see them in person. Oh my, they are ALL tall and thin! Not Slim, Thin! Just like these girls...

I guess they are all 1.75 and above; looking almost identical in height and size. If I remember correctly, all are brunettes except for a blond and a black lady. Sometimes I suspect all models have anorexia problem. But maybe this is my excuse for being jealous. Hah! =)

But seriously, I sometimes feel that some models, actors or singers portray a wrong image or are sending the wrong signals to young women. Just look at Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan! One word - OVERLY-SKINNY! Maybe some guys like their girls that way. But personally, I feel girls should look curvy with toned muscles and a tight butt. Just like them...

What a HECTIC week!!

This is a crazy week for me. Check out my schedule for submission of my assignments! (sorry for the poor quality..)



They are practically back-to-back!! Been eating in during lunch hour to finish these 'killers'. Ya, eat and do at the same time. Quite sad hor? =(

Anyway I've submitted the reflection report and done my presentation. So now, only left with the final report. 2000 words and I haven't started a single word!! OMG~ *jaw drop* Gotta chiong tonight cos it's due tomorrow! Another late night for me again. Haiz...

Finally at the last semester of my degree. Took a very very long time to complete it. But now, I'm can finally see the finishing line. The feeling is good. Tiring but good. =)
