251

Reckless rebel or radical pioneer? Porn princess or media maverick? Annabel Chong burst into history in 1994 in a world-record sex marathon with 251 men. The first porn star to emerge from Singapore, she became one of the most internationally recognised Singaporean icons, a controversial public figure and the focus of feverish media attention. Haunted by memories of home, history and her religious upbringing, she struggled to reinvent herself as Grace Quek, digital diva and matrix mistress.

Join us on this racy journey through private boudoirs, sleazy studios, raunchy strip clubs, porn parties and the constantly evolving world of cyberspace.

Babes or babe?

I asked my friend over msn yesterday:

A: wat do u tink of fat women in bikinis??
C: gosh, a definite no-no!
A: y?
C: cos their fats will be bulging out here and there...!
A: ... ok.

I wonder if it's really a 'sin' for fat women to wear bikinis? Afterall, it's their choice.

So, do you prefer babes or babe?

Kawabanga!

This was the cartoon I used to watch when I was a kid. Don't think they are airing it now. Recently it was made into a movie and I watched it yesterday.

To be frank, I thought the plot was predictable, a little boring even. Maybe bcos this is a re-make of a famous and well-known cartoon, I expected them to be better. But the CG animation was pretty good.

One thing I learnt from the movie: Never be controlled by your emotions.

When you're angry about something or with someone, don't explode immediately. People tend to say or do things that they might regret when they are angry. Cool down, clear your head first, then decide what to do or say. It helps save relationships. =)

Sunshine, Babes and Hunks!

Went to Sentosa Siloso beach yesterday with Alvin. It was my first time down this beach, only been to Palawan for Viva Sentosa (salsa event). There was a LOT of bikini babes and surfer-shorts hunks, mostly were Caucasians.

We took the Sentosa Express from Vivocity ($3 per pax). The train passes by 3 stops - waterfront station, imbiah station and beach station. You can see many beautiful scenery along the way.

the imbiah station

the beach station - links to siloso and palawan

The beach is SO big, stretching from one end to the other! Looking from the beach, the sea was magnificent.

Looking down from the beach station, the view was breath-taking!

Totally enjoyed the day. N I'm having sunburn now.. =(

Let's make this a weekly thing, shall we?! =)

Music and Lyrics

A romantic comedy following Alex Fletcher, a washed-up 80s pop star who's been reduced to working the nostalgia circuit at county fairs and amusement parks. The charismatic and talented musician gets a chance at a comeback when reigning diva Cora Corman invites him to write and record a duet with her, but there's a problem - Alex hasn't written a song in years, he's never written lyrics, and he has to come up with a hit in a matter of days.

At first, I thought Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore look a little odd together. But it wasn't so bad afterall. Heh. Quite a nice romance comedy. =)

Something I learnt from the show: Don't be afraid to say how you feel. Be true about your own feelings.

Someone sms-ed me: i always feel there's so many things to do and so little time.

Isn't that always the case? There are tons and tons of work to be done, but there is only 24 hours a day. There's only so much work a person can do and only so much responsibility a person can take. Over the limit and that's it. The mind goes haywired and the body goes on strike.

Time management IS important, but allocation of work is EQUALLY important. Plan what you gonna do. The more important ones go first, followed by the second important and so on so forth. Do what you NEED to do first, then do what you WANT to do.

On other note, work is never-ending. If not, your boss would not hire you. So I don't really see the need to work till 11+ or even after midnight! Walk pass those office buildings in town after 9pm, you probably can still see lights shining out from those little tiny windows. Are you one of them?

Trip down the zoo

Went to the zoo last week. It has been 4 years since I last visited it. Well, it was a weekday so there wasn't much people around. The zoo is pretty big actually. Following the map, trying to visit every animal, I spent almost 5 hours inside! Had breakfast at Ang Mo Kio's Big Mac Centre.

Why is it called the BMC? According to the cashier auntie, the entire building used to be all mac counters, top to bottom. Now it occupies only a corner on L1.

Anyway, a picture speaks a thousand words. So enjoy!~

I was hospitalized!

Was admitted into Changi General Hospital last Friday due to super fast heartbeat. 120/min! It was due to the relapse of my thyroid problem (aka Graves Disease). Stayed over for a night. They did tests on my blood and urine, and I gotta go back to see a specialist next week. Anyway, the meals served in the hospital weren't so bad afterall. There's dessert (chocolate pudding) as well. But the coffee from the vending machine SUCKS!~

Many thanks to ALVIN who accompanied me to the hospital and stayed till end of visiting hours. Many thanks to JACK for visiting me and for the flowers. =)

My identity tag.

Pretty flowers from Jack. (They are still on my study table.)

Garden view at the back of my ward.

Awon Korean Restaurant

This is a Korean bbq and steamboat restaurant located at level 4 of Excelsior Hotel. I tried the buffet yesterday. There's marinated beef, chicken, pork, prawn, vege and tan-hoon plus side dishes.

One interesting thing I noticed was that instead of scooping the rice into your bowl for refills, they put the rice in a metal bowl and place the whole thing inside the rice cooker. You have to wear a glove to take the bowl out. Another thing to note is they used metal utensils and the chopsticks is Damn Heavy Lar! Oh forget to mention the dinner buffet is $20.80++. Not sure about lunch buffet.
