Just got back from a wonderful movie - The Bucket List.
Two strangers, each at the crossroads in their lives, share a hospital room and discover they have two things in common: a desire to spend the time they have left doing everything they ever wanted to do and an unrealized need to come to terms with who they are. Together they embark on the road trip of a lifetime, becoming friends along the way and learning to live life to the fullest, with insight and humor.
Most of us tend to realise what we really want and who we truly are only when we are, well, about to 'kick the bucket'. Strangely and sadly, this is especially true for those who have worked hard to achieve what he thinks he wants but at the same time, missing out or overlooking what is really important in life.
There is so much I can say about this, but the bottom line is "Don't die with any regrets".
And, Splendid performance by Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. =)
