Birthday Surprise for Baby!

Knowing that baby will be outfield on his birthday, I decided to give him a surprise on the weekend before his actual day. I lured him to Sentosa on the pretext of tanning. Upon reaching the destination, I told him I need to use the toilet and asked him to wait for me outside. 10 mins passed. 20 mins passed. I finally came out of Siloso Beach Resort with a room key!



Baby was really stunned. Eyes and mouth wide opened for almost 20 seconds; that expression was worth a million dollars! *wide grin*

Soon after we settled down, we went swimming. The pool is quite long, stretching from one end to the other. There is a waterfall on one side of the pool, and jacuzzis on the other end. For those who don't swim, you can relax or simply laze around by the tables beside the pool.



Dinner was at Carnivore, a Brazilian food feast with non-stop flow of meat - beef, pork, chicken, fish and lamb! Their knife-welding passadors (meat waiters) will move around the tables, carving the succulent meats from large skewers onto your plates, and the meat just kept coming and coming and coming and... Baby and I ordered this drink - with lime, Brazilian rum, and mint leaves - can't remember the name tho. Strong flavored, and it's supposed to 'push' down the food so you can eat a lot more. Come to think of it, it tastes a little like Cuba's mijito. =)

Well, I asked Baby how surprise he was rating from a scale of 1 to 10. He said 8. So I topped it up with a new 4 gb ipod nano! But he kind of expected it. Darn. Oh well, he's happy, so am I.

Breakfast was at the resort cafe. Nothing too fancy, just your normal sausage, cereal and stuff. There were a lot of locals and foreigners, from Korea, Japan, America perhaps.
