Makan makan!

Tried out 2 new restaurants last week.

Aerin's

Located at B1 of Raffles shopping centre, Aerin's offers modern classical European cuisine. The food was alright, nothing too fanciful. And the portions are small, so not suitable for big eaters. But the ambience is a plus point; feels like a classy dining place. To me, it's more of a place suitable for a glass of wine, rather than having dinner.

Brotzeit

A German restaurant situated at Vivocity. Again the place looked classy and expensive, and it kind of is. Similar to Aerin's, the ambience is a plus plus point. You can choose to sit indoors or outdoors, each with its own uniqueness.

My friends and I sat in the indoors. The wall is painted black with pictures painted in white. Interesting.

Before the meal, I had half a pint of German beer - Hefe-weissbier. It's quite smooth with a little fruity taste.

We had the famous pork knuckle, which is not on the menu, and sausage platter (chicken, lamb, pork).

And ended the meal with apple strudel and gelato (chocolate, hazelnut, red berries yohurt) ice-cream as dessert.

It was a wonderful dining experience, and of cos, an expensive one. Everything we had plus all the extra charges, 3 person spent about $123! Not too bad..
