It's that season again!

Once again, the exam season is here. Everybody, including myself, has to go through it at least twice a year. Mine is in April.

Hmm, isn't that THIS month? Gosh, 3 weeks more to the BIG day. How exciting..

Why do we have to sit for exams? I guess it is simply a way to test if we remember what we have learnt in class. If we do, we can proceed to the next level. If we don't, we just have to do it again.

From primary to secondary, all the way up to uni or poly, we have to sit for countless of exams. Have you ever wonder if we REALLY remember what we had learnt back in secondary school after 10 or 15 years? At least I don't really recalled the maths formulas I had tried so hard to remember when I was in JC.

What do we get for spending at least 16 years studying our brains off? A decent cert. and a proper job. You have to admit, a cert. is pretty important in today's society. But there are also many without a cert. and are doing just fine, right?

Which is better: getting a decent cert. and get into a high pay job that you don't really fancy, or not having a degree but doing something you really enjoy?

Life is short. Enjoy it. =)
