Last week, Cho Seung Hui, a Korean student from Virginia massacred 32 people at Virginia Tech campus before turning the gun on himself.
According to his classmates, Cho was a shy and quiet person who almost never opened his mouth. But when he finally did, his classmates laughed at him and asked him to 'go back to China'. He was picked-on and bullied in middle school where some people would push him down and laugh at him.
If he was badly treated in school, why didn't his classmates or teachers help him by stopping those who bullied him but allowed them to continue? If they are willing to lend a helping hand, this heart-wrecking incident might not had happened.
No matter how fast the world is revolving, one thing will never change - racism. As long as there are people with different skin color, racism will always be there. Why can't everybody live in harmony regardless of their differences? The world will be a much better place if people are able to accept and respect one another. How weird that the Americans always think that Chinese with yellow skin MUST be from China? Duh!~
The laws for obtaining guns in America should be reviewed. Guns can be easily bought in the US. Just go into any gun shop, pay for it and the gun's yours. How convenient. Guns are used as a mean of protection in the US, but many used it for the wrong purposes. Isn't it ironic?
P/S: Anybody know the laws for buying guns in the US?
On another note, if you're feeling stress and is unable to cope with the pressure, do approach a professional. Don't bottle it up. It's bad for you and bad for others if you decided to go crazy.
